Terms of service

These terms govern your use of InteractiveStoriesAI. The short version: use the app, don't break the law, the stories you write are yours, and we'll do our best to keep the service running and tell you if anything changes.
Using the app
InteractiveStoriesAI gives you a personal, non-transferable license to read and write interactive stories. You keep the rights to the prompts you write. We keep the rights to the product, the brand, and the underlying code.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. If you suspect someone else is using your account, write to us and we'll lock it down. You can delete your account at any time from settings.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to generate content that is illegal, hateful, or targeted at a real person without their consent. The AI narrator can refuse; the server can too. Repeated violations end the account.
Intellectual property
The app, the brand, the narrator design, and the code are ours. The prompts you write and the stories you generate from them are yours. You can publish, share, or remix them. We won't claim rights over them.
Subscriptions
Plans renew monthly through the App Store or Google Play. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle. Action counters reset on renewal. Refunds follow the rules of the store that billed you.
Service availability
We're a small team. The app may go down for maintenance. Stories you started will be there when we're back. We aim for at least 99% monthly uptime but can't guarantee it.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
AI-generated content
Stories are generated by an AI narrator. The AI can be wrong, biased, or just make things up. Don't rely on it as a source of fact for real decisions about health, law, finance, or safety. Use your judgment.
Changes to these terms
We will post the new version here with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that counts as acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer law gives you the right to sue in your own.
